Designed with convenience and safety in mind, the quick release fold-down back allows the chair to fit compactly into small areas for storage and transport. All Duro-Meds transport chairs feature removable, swing-away leg riggings, padded armrests, dual "push to lock" wheel brakes and seat belts for improved patient comfort and safety. 8" wheels provide optimum performance on most surfaces and most uneven surfaces. Loop-lock hand brakes aid caregivers in maintaining controll fo the chair while in use. Hand brakes enable the chair to be slowed or stopped while decending ramps or inclines, greatly reducing the risk of injury to both the patient and caregiver.
